The integral foundation of the joint activities, the content-related work, and the exchange between the members of the GHA – German Health Alliance are the working committees established according to the needs and wishes of the members. These include, in particular, working groups (WGs): WGs connect GHA members on cross-cutting topics, focus regions and countries, and also share the expertise of GHA members in segments such as medical technology. The goals and elements of the work areas of the respective working committees, whose meetings generally take place twice a year, include:
- Exchange on current topics internally and with relevant stakeholders & experts
- Targeted presentation of the activities and contributions of GHA members
- Identification of interfaces and potential for GHA members
- Stimulation of concrete projects and cooperation
- Development of position papers
- Visits and discussions with relevant institutions and organizations
- Preparation and support for incoming & outgoing delegations
- Close integration and exchange with other GHA working groups
- Jour fixe of the AG Chair with the Board
- Short report by the chairmen of the working groups at GHA member meetings
- Expansion of own information resources and communication channels
- Sustainable and successful positioning of the GHA as a shaping actor
