It is with great pleasure that we invite you to a round table discussion with a distinguished delegation from Pakistan. The meeting will focus on the topic “Strengthening the Healthcare System in Pakistan – How can German companies contribute? This event promises to be an engaging platform for meaningful dialogue and collaboration, bringing together thought leaders and experts to explore areas of mutual interest.

Pakistan is increasingly in the media spotlight. The political and economic situation remains unsatisfactory compared to the country’s potential. Compared to other developing countries in South Asia, Pakistan ranks low in terms of the health of its population. Considering the high population growth rate of around two percent per year an improvement in the efficiency and comprehensiveness of the country’s health services is needed urgently.

The German government is supporting Pakistan in establishing sustainable health structures. KfW and GIZ are focusing their cooperation on reproductive health and health insurance. In this context, the high-level delegation from Pakistan is coming to Berlin.
