medifa healthcare group GmbH, a leading company in medical technology, is planning a new, state-of-the-art campus for production and administration in Baden-Baden Steinbach.

The new building is another milestone in medifa’s history. The group’s headquarters and the previous production sites in Rastatt and Ötigheim, with a total of 300 employees, will be brought together at a single location. For medifa, solidarity with the region is just as important as innovations and the associated willingness to invest in the latest technologies.

The spacious new building is being constructed on almost 28,000 square metres of land acquired from the city of Baden-Baden. The production area of over 16,250 square metres will comprise state-of-the-art machines for sheet metal processing, CNC machining, welding technology, surface technology and for the production of modular operating theatres, as well as highbay warehouses with modern logistics. Offices for the commercial employees will be created on the ground floor and 1st floor.

In order to realise the planned move at the end of 2022, Goldbeck, an experienced general contractor in commercial building construction, has been engaged to supervise the project. They are currently processing the building application.
