Prontosan® Wound Gel

Properties

• Ready-to-use colorless gel for application in wound cavities and for wound bed preparation to remove coatings before further treatment is carried out
• Based on betaine surfactant and polyaminopropyl biguanide (polyhexanide): high tissue tolerance and biocompatibility of the product
• Sterile gel
• Can be used on colonized and critically colonized wounds to fill deep cavities
• Absorbs wound odors
• Can be used up to 8 weeks after opening
