BioCon Valley® GmbH is the healthcare industry network for Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (MV) on behalf of the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The core task of the state-owned company, with the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania as the majority shareholder, is the coordination of healthcare industry measures in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The goal is to further develop Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania as THE healthcare state, in accordance with the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Healthcare Industry Master Plan 2030.
Whether you are a founder, sole proprietor, start-up, small or medium-sized enterprise (SME), large corporation, university, or research institution: BioCon Valley® GmbH offers a comprehensive range of services to (further) develop market-oriented needs for and with the industry. The state-owned company looks after existing companies and simultaneously supports companies in developing new national and international markets. Furthermore, with its professional expertise in the healthcare industry, the GmbH promotes international business, for example, through new locations or company expansions. The focus of its activities is the healthcare industry, which is of particular importance in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern as a future-oriented sector. To this end, BioCon Valley® GmbH is active on behalf of the state in networks statewide, nationally, and internationally; it initiates and supports projects, develops new markets, and creates new partnerships for companies in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (internationalization). BioCon Valley® GmbH markets the healthcare industry and supports and develops innovative studies for the industry (industry monitoring).
As a central contact and driving force for the industry, the BioCon Valley® GmbH network has proven itself a pivotal point for the development of the healthcare industry in the state in recent years. As a network, the company sees itself as a service provider for the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern state government, the state's business community, and the state's scientific community. With the support of the GHA (German Health Insurance Association), BioCon Valley® GmbH is presenting Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's healthcare industry at the World Health Exhibition.
