Brainlab digitizes medical processes from diagnosis to therapy, forming the foundation for modern medicine with an innovative ecosystem. Using artificial intelligence, individual patient data is structured, mapped, and aggregated into three-dimensional models. This forms the basis of a navigation system for the human body that enables the safe removal of brain tumors, the precise placement of spinal screws, and the delivery of radiation therapy to breast cancer with millimeter precision.
Through the use of robotics and augmented reality, the digital and physical worlds are linked. Brainlab also supports the collection of structured long-term data and medical registries. During the training and continuing education of clinical professionals, Brainlab promotes adaptation to technological advances through modern computer gaming technology and enables the creation of digital models of complete interventions. Brainlab's digital ecosystem is open to all interfaces and provides a framework for third parties to accelerate digital innovation in other clinical areas.
Brainlab's systems are installed in 6700 hospitals in 127 countries, providing physicians and patients with better treatment options. Founded 35 years ago in Munich, the company employs 2400 people of 87 nationalities at 25 locations.
