The Christoffel Blindenmission (CBM) is one of the world's leading organizations for inclusive development cooperation. CBM has been supporting people with disabilities in the world's poorest countries for more than 110 years. Together with its local partners, CBM ensures that the lives of people with disabilities improve fundamentally and sustainably. It provides medical assistance and promotes equal participation in society. The goal is an inclusive world in which people with and without disabilities can contribute their skills and no one is left behind. In 2022, CBM supported 391 projects in 44 countries in the areas of inclusive eye health and neglected tropical diseases, community-based inclusive development cooperation, and inclusive humanitarian aid.
