We have been setting standards since 1851: As an owner-managed family business, Erbe develops, produces, and distributes surgical instruments, devices, and services worldwide for professional use in a wide variety of medical fields. Erbe solutions are leading the way in many countries and are therefore an integral part of the operating room workflow. We thus contribute to the best possible treatment for patients – for therapy that is both gentle and successful. Our technologies include electrosurgery, thermofusion, plasma surgery, cryosurgery, and hydrosurgery. The combination of these technologies into hybrid solutions enables innovative application possibilities that primarily set the standard in general surgery, gastroenterology, gynecology, pulmonology, and urology. Erbe employs over 1000 people worldwide, including approximately 650 at its Tübingen and Rangendingen locations. Around 170 people work in research and development. Intensive exchange with renowned users from universities and hospitals is the key to Erbe's success in driving forward developments in medicine.
