Ikegami Electronics (Europe) GmbH was founded in 1970 as the sales and service organization for Europe and Africa by Ikegami Tsushinki Japan, a leading manufacturer of specialized cameras, image processing, and transmission equipment. Since 2010, the production and assembly of medical video cameras and other video equipment has taken place in Neuss, Germany, enabling the company to offer a complete portfolio of R&D, production, sales and marketing activities, as well as service to customers in Europe, Africa, Russia, and the Middle East, directly to the customer. Ikegami Electronics (Europe) GmbH is thus able to offer its customers both high-end medical video systems and the development and manufacture of customized video solutions for various medical applications. In addition to video cameras for microscopy, Ikegami develops the highest quality products in all areas of image processing, such as image generation, transmission, recording, and display.
