For more than 100 years, Ottobock has been developing innovative products in the areas of prosthetics, exoskeletons, and neuromobility for people with limited mobility. At the same time, the medical technology company offers holistic care concepts through its own patient care centers.

Since 1919, Ottobock products and technologies have provided new freedom of movement and prevented potential consequential injuries. While the series production of prosthetic components revolutionized the market and, above all, the treatment process when the company was founded, today it is microprocessor-controlled knee joints such as the C-Leg – controlled via app – or the computer-controlled C-Brace leg orthosis, the bebionic multi-articulating hand, Juvo power wheelchairs, and the Paexo exoskeleton family for ergonomic workplaces. As a global technology leader in wearable human bionics, the company continually sets new standards and drives the digitalization of the industry – together with its partners, medical supply retailers, and international research institutions.

The company's international activities are coordinated from its headquarters in Duderstadt, Lower Saxony. Ottobock has been supporting the Paralympic Games with its technical expertise since 1988.
