GHA at WHX Dubai 2026: The MENA growth market is in focus for the German healthcare industry
The Gulf Cooperation Council states are investing billions in expanding modern hospital infrastructure, digitalization, specialized diagnostics, and local value creation. Strategic programs such as Saudi Vision 2030 and the United Arab Emirates' national health strategies are further driving this development. Dubai serves as a regional trade and logistics hub, not only for the region but also increasingly as a gateway to Africa.
WHX Dubai is one of the most important healthcare trade fairs in the Middle East and has established itself as a central platform for markets in the Gulf region, North Africa and parts of South Asia.
Against this backdrop, the GHA – German Health Alliance – was once again strongly represented from February 9–12. With a 217 m² joint stand and 18 member companies, the GHA underscored the strategic importance of the region for the German healthcare industry.
The participating companies covered a broad spectrum along the value chain, from medical technology and diagnostics to digital imaging and health IT, as well as specialized components, consumables and innovative financing models:
DEHAS MEDICAL SYSTEMS GMBH | ACL | tic Medizintechnik GmbH | Kimetec GmbH | VISUS Health IT GmbH | HAEBERLE GmbH + Co. KG | easyRadiology | G. Heinemann Medizintechnik GmbH | Oehm and Rehbein GmbH (OR Technology) | INVIDIA MEDICAL | pfm medical gmbh | BioCon Valley GmbH | Speed Care Mineral | RoweMed AG – Medical 4 Life | IMAGE Information Systems | EMOS Technology GmbH | ILO electronic GmbH | Evolve – The Managed Finance Company
This joint approach strengthens medium-sized companies in particular, enabling them to access complex markets in a structured manner and consolidating their visibility, reach, and network. At the same time, the German healthcare industry is positioning itself as a unified and reliable partner for high-quality, technologically advanced solutions.
WHX Dubai has once again demonstrated that the MENA region is not just a sales market for German suppliers, but a strategic growth area – with long-term investment needs, high reform momentum and growing demand for specialized, innovative solutions “Made in Germany”.
