GHA MedTech Conference Saudi Arabia at Erbe in Tübingen: Market access, Vision 2030 and strategic diversification in focus

Based on Saudi Vision 2030, key developments in the healthcare sector and specific market access issues were discussed – including SFDA regulatory requirements, product registration, local partnerships, and compliance aspects. Practical contributions further highlighted the implementation of MedTech business models in Saudi Arabia and the opportunities arising from the market's transformation.

Particular attention was also paid to the strategic positioning of Saudi Arabia in the global context. A panel discussion explored the country's role as a potential alternative to established markets such as the USA and China in times of geopolitical upheaval.

In addition to its thematic focus, the conference provided a forum for exchange within the GHA MedTech community. Presentations on leadership profiling and succession planning, as well as the introduction of new members, complemented the program. Furthermore, an outlook on upcoming activities was presented, including MEDICA 2026, the World Health Exhibition Dubai 2026/2027, and Global Health Riyadh in October 2026.

The event was rounded off with a company tour at Erbe Elektromedizin, celebrating the company's long history, as well as networking opportunities. Participants had already gathered for a social evening the night before.
