New position paper on global health policy in the context of the 2025 federal election

The steering committee of the Global Health Hub Germany (GHHG) All members of the German government – with the exception of the parliamentary group – have presented a current position paper on global health policy. It formulates key measures and political priorities for the incoming federal government to strengthen Germany's role as a reliable partner in international health cooperation.

As a member of the Steering Committee, we support the call for a coherent and sustainable global health strategy. Particular emphasis is placed on the need for greater commitment to research funding, global health financing, and pandemic preparedness. The link between climate change and health and the promotion of innovations in digital healthcare are also key priorities.
