Delegation trip to the WHS Regional Meeting in Nairobi | 26 – 30 Apr | Nairobi
The GHA – German Health Alliance plans together with the Africa Association a delegation trip to Nairobi on the occasion of Regional Meetings of the World Health Summit that from 26-30 April 2026 will be held.
In addition to attending the WHS Regional Meeting, the delegation can expect a diverse supporting program that will provide insights into the Kenyan healthcare system and provide exchange and dialogue with relevant local stakeholders. Plans include, among other things, the following: Visit to a Primary Health Care Facility in Nairobi, Discussions with representatives of the Kenyan Ministry of Health as well as appointments with important institutions such as the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA). Furthermore are Meetings with NGOs, a possible Hospital visit and Networking formats – such as a German Business Network Breakfast – planned.
Furthermore, a small-scale roundtable discussion with Federal Minister Reem Alabali Radovan is planned for the afternoon of April 27th, in which the delegation will participate.
The trip is aimed at participants who are interested in both the WHS Regional Meeting as well as targeted expert discussions and site visits. Part of the program will be flexible to accommodate the delegation's interests. Individual arrival is scheduled for April 25th; departure will be on the evening of April 30th.
