In this web talk, we will discuss the political agenda and concrete regulatory decisions that shape the competitiveness of the industrial sectors.

1. Legislative proposals and competitiveness
   Status of the projects from the perspective of the EP (e.g. Critical Medicines Act (CMA), Medical Device Regulation (MDR)) and impacts on Europe's competitiveness and future viability vis-à-vis the USA and China.

2. European Health Data Space (EHDS)
   Significance for Europe as a location for research and innovation: access to well-structured patient data, data quality, implementation steps in the coming months and years.

3. Regulatory reforms & bureaucracy reduction
   Which adaptations promote research and innovation in the iGW?

4. Option: European Life Science/SANTE Omnibus
   Can an omnibus approach effectively reduce bureaucracy – and how should it be designed from the EP's perspective?
