Actively shaping resilience and security: Innovations for health, economy and civil protection

The topics of defense, security, and civil protection are gaining increasing importance for industry, healthcare, and politics. Against this backdrop, the SPECTARIS working group on Security & Defense (Photonics) and the joint working group on Defense, Civil Protection, and Disaster Relief of the German Health Alliance (GHA) and SPECTARIS are hosting their first joint event.

Under the title:

“Actively shaping resilience and security: Innovations for health, economy and civil protection”

We would like to discuss current challenges, bring together perspectives from politics, business and healthcare, and promote exchange between the stakeholders involved.

Look forward to insights from:

• Cora Loh, Speaker for Innovation, Security and Technology, BDI
• Tim Bartsch, Head of the Coordination Office for Overall Defense, Chamber of Industry and Commerce Lake Constance-Upper Swabia
• Kai Sauer, Ambassador of Finland to Germany

In addition to a joint morning program, both working groups offer their own specialist sessions on their main topics in the afternoon.

Another item on the agenda is the Pitch session “Innovation & Resilience”, in which up to ten companies can present their solutions and technologies for security, resilience and healthcare in three minutes each.

Naturally, there will be ample opportunity for networking. The preliminary Program you find in Appendix.

If you would like to present your company during the pitch session, please indicate this when registering. Should the number of interested parties exceed the available places, we reserve the right to make a balanced selection.
