Web talk with Dr. Severin Fischer, State Secretary for Economic Affairs, Energy and Public Enterprises of the State of Berlin
The industrial healthcare sector is one of Germany's most dynamic and research-intensive industries. Employing over one million people, it makes a key contribution to value creation, technological development, and export strength. At the same time, the sector faces major international challenges: innovation processes must be accelerated, investment conditions improved, and digital business models given greater support. Regional factors such as research infrastructure, skilled workers, and the networking of academia, startups, and industry are becoming increasingly important.
As part of our BDI web talk, we will discuss which economic and industrial policy impulses are necessary to strengthen the iGW as a growth engine, expand regional innovation ecosystems and secure the long-term competitiveness of Berlin as a business location.
With impetus from:
Dr. Severin Fischer
