aap’s Cannulated Screws provide an optimal combination of bio-compatibility and mechanical strength.
With its wide range of screw lengths and thread diameters aap’s cannulated screws are indicated for a wide range of fractures.
Cannulated screws are minimally invasive and are used in many types of fractures as well as in multiple anatomical regions.
aap’s Cannulated Screws are self-cutting (forwards and backwards) and self drilling. All Cannulated Screws can be lead by a Kirschner wire.
Field of Use:
The thread diameters range from 2.0 mm, 2.7 mm, 3.5 mm, 4.0 mm, 4.5 mm, 5.8 mm, 6.5 mm up to 7.5 mm and cover a wide range of indications.
Detailed information on the indications for Cannulated Screws can be found in the IFU
aap’s Cannulated Screw sets are modular and can be adapted to accommodate specific indications:
For general applications sets providing thread diameters from 2.0 – 7.5 mm can be delivered.
For hindfoot applications aap offers sets with Cannulated Screws with the thread diameters 6.5 mm and 7.5 mm.
For applications in the forefoot area the sets ranging from 4.0 mm to 4.5 mm are especially suitable.
