The Distal Anterolateral Tibia (DAT) Plate 3.5 is part of the LOQTEQ® Plating System and was designed to address fractures of the distal tibia.
The gliding-locking holes in the plate shaft enable compression and angular-stable locking in one single step.
The pre-shaped LOQTEQ® DAT Plate 3.5 is adapted to the distal tibia anatomy and can be used as an alignment guide for reconstructing complex fractures.
K-Wires can be placed through the plate to reduce, stabilize and fixate fracture fragments. Locking and compression holes in the shaft allow optional variable compression. Four distal locking screws are positioned parallel to the joint line. Two more stabilize and fixate medial fragments, the Volkmann’s triangle and the Chaput fragments. Furthermore Minor Contact undercuts are designed to minimize the reduction in blood supply to the periosteum. The flattened end of the plate shaft enables the tissue-conserving, submuscular insertion of the plate. It also allows an adequate soft tissue coverage and aims to limit soft tissue irritation.
Field of Use:
The LOQTEQ® DAT Plate 3.5 can address intra- and extra-articular fractures of the distal tibia especially in osteoporotic bone, non-unions as well as osteotomies.

The LOQTEQ® DAT Plate 3.5 is in combination with the LOQTEQ® Distal Medial Tibia (DMT) Plates, the LOQTEQ® Fibula Plate and angular-stable 1/3 Tubular Plates available. Less common sizes are sterile packed and need to be ordered separately.
