The LOQTEQ® Osteotomy System allows the surgeon to correct both varus (bow legs) and valgus (x-legs) deformities.
The LOQTEQ® High Tibia Osteotomy (HTO) plate features higher stability, smaller incision and thinner design in comparison to other products on the market. The LOQTEQ® Distal Femur Osteotomy (DFO) plate allows to compress the “closed wedge” osteotomy and lock the screw simultaneously. A benefit which is exclusive on the market.

Features:
The pre-shaped LOQTEQ® DFO plate 4.5 is anatomically shaped to match the femoral condyle. The plate and the incorporated LOQTEQ® technology offers the surgeon an option to compress and lock the closed wedge with the appropriate force without using an additional instrument. Thereby the necessity of a larger incision can be reduced.
The LOQTEQ® HTO plate 4.5 shows higher stability ratings than the top benchmark product. At the same time the plate is thinner and shorter than most competition products.
The instrument set, which includes the radiolucent soft tissue retractor, enables the surgeon to have an open view on screw placement. Since the retractor does not need to be removed during surgery, the risk of soft tissue irritation can be reduced.

Field of Use (DFO):
The aim of the distal femur osteotomy is to correct the axis of the genu valgum to reduce the weight load on the lateral side of the joint and to reduce the continuing arthritis of the same. The common methods of correction are the lateral “open wedge” or the medial “closed wedge” technique.
The LOQTEQ® DFO plate 4.5 is especially designed for the medial „closed wedge” approach. The LOQTEQ® DFO plate 4.5 allows the secure fixation of the device using the LOQTEQ® technology to compress and hold the closed wedge osteotomy.
Detailed information on the indications for individual plates can be found in the IFU and in the surgical technique.

Field of Use (HTO):
The LOQTEQ® HTO plate 4.5 is used for high tibia osteotomies.
The plate allows a stable fixation of open wedge osteotomies. Thanks to the short design, the plate can be used for a minimally invasive approach and therefore could allow for an earlier post-operative mobilization of the patient.
Detailed information on the indications for individual plates can be found in the IFU and in the surgical technique.

Compositions:
The HTO plate 4.5 is „one size fits all“ for all patients and there is no right or left version.
The DFO plate 4.5 is available in one length for either right or left.
All plates are available and stored in either sterile or non-sterile (on the set with the instruments) packaging.
