DESCRIPTION:Under the patronage of H.E. John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, the high-level Africa Health Sovereignty Summit will take place on Tuesday, 5 August 2025, from 09:00 to 19:00 (GMT) at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra, Ghana.\n\n\nThe summit will focus on the official launch of the Accra Compact and the presentation of the SUSTAIN Initiative – an African-led approach to strengthening sovereign and sustainable health systems and redefining multilateral cooperation.\n\n\nThe event will bring together high-level representatives from African governments, ministries, international organisations, civil society and the private sector. Members of the GHA are cordially invited to take part in this important dialogue, either on-site in Accra or virtually via Zoom.\n\n\nKey topics include:\n\n\n\n\n 	\nSovereign health financing and multilateral reform\n\n\n\n 	\nPresentation of the SUSTAIN Initiative\n\n\n\n 	\nPolitical dialogue on domestic financing and private sector engagement\n\n\n\n 	\nEndorsement of the Accra Compact\n\n\n\n\nFurther information can be found in the attached documents.\n\n\nParticipation:We have been assured that virtual participation via Zoom will be possible in addition to in-person attendance.\n\n\nRegistration:To express interest in participating, please contact:Hon.
