DESCRIPTION:Equitable access to health products is essential to building resilient health systems, yet access considerations are often addressed late in the development process, resulting in delays and barriers to availability and uptake.\n\n\nThis interactive session will bring together funders, innovators, product development partnerships, licensing organisations, manufacturers, and other stakeholders to explore how access considerations can be embedded throughout the R&D lifecycle. Through practical examples and discussion, participants will examine how different types of partnerships, agreements, and access commitments can support timely, affordable, and sustainable access to health innovations.\n\n\nHear from speakers looking at different aspects of access from GHIAA, Wellcome, Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi), International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI), Market Access Africa (MAA) and the Medicines Patent Pool (MPP), with further speakers to be confirmed.\n\n\nDue to limited space, we ask invitees register using the link here.
