RAISE SRHR Inception Phase SADC Region Validation Workshop

In coordination with the SADC Secretariat, we are pleased to invite you to the RAISE SRHR Inception Phase Validation Workshop, taking place virtually on 8 April 2026.Under RAISE SRHR – Regional Access and Accountability for Increased SRHR Equity in East and Southern Africa, a regional assessment was conducted across SADC Member States to review readiness to strengthen access to Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) commodities, covering pooled procurement, regulatory harmonisation, and local manufacturing.

RAISE SRHR is implemented under the Team Europe Initiative on SRHR (TEI SRHR) and co-funded by the European Union and the German Government through the “Cooperation for the Enhancement of SADC Regional Economic Integration (CESARE III)” programme.

The Inception Phase findings and related activities focus on Special Objective 2 of the TEI SRHR, increasing the availability of essential, underused, or difficult to access quality assured sexual and reproductive health (SRH) commodities.
