The German Eastern Business Association and the GHA – German Health Alliance are pleased to invite you to the 9th German–East European Health Forum, taking place on 9 October 2026 in Berlin. The Forum is an official side event of the World Health Summit (WHS).
This year’s Forum will focus on the following key questions:
New Approaches in the Health Sector in Eastern Europe
- How can European cooperation help build resilient healthcare systems—and what role does regulatory harmonization play?
- What joint strategies are needed to prevent neurodegenerative diseases?
- How is digitalization in healthcare transforming the path from data to patient-centered care?
In recent years, healthcare systems across Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe, the Baltics, the South Caucasus, and Central Asia have seen substantial transformation. Governments throughout these regions have invested in modernising healthcare infrastructure, expanding access to quality services, and enacting important health policy reforms. Public-private partnerships, strengthened healthcare financing, and digital innovation have all contributed to better service delivery and patient outcomes.
As these regions continue to advance, stakeholders remain committed to fostering innovation, strengthening cross-border collaboration, and supporting the sustainable development of healthcare systems.
We warmly invite you to engage with senior decision-makers from partner countries, along with leading business representatives and experts from the health sector.
The Forum will be held at the KPMG premises in Berlin and will include opportunities for networking and exchange.
The working language of the event is English. Participation is free of charge.
