EU-India Business Summit | 27 Jan | New Delhi

Business Europe have been contacted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) regarding the organisation of a Business Forum back-to-back with the EU–India Summit, which will take place in New Delhi on 26–27 January 2026. The Business Forum would be held on 27 January.

The intention is to announce during the Summit a political compromise on the EU–India Free Trade Agreement (FTA), even if further details will probably still need to be worked out afterwards. In this context, the organisation of a Business Forum would fit very well. The idea is to hold a business-to-business discussion, followed by a meeting with the leaders – Prime Minister Modi together with President von der Leyen and President Costa.

At this stage, we do not yet have much additional information. However, given the limited time until January, we already wish to flag this event so that your company can start exploring possible participation. Given the high level of the event, participation is only recommended at CEO or C-level.
