The German-East European & CIS Health Forum, organised by the German Eastern Business Association and the German Health Alliance as an Official Side Event of the World Health Summit, provides a framework for exchange and networking with decision-makers from Germany and the partner countries, company representatives, experts and researchers. The 5th edition of the Health Forum will focus on the reconstruction of the health sector in Ukraine and business exchange on the dynamic markets in Eastern Europe.
The Russian war of aggression against Ukraine represents another challenge for the health sector in Eastern Europe after the Corona pandemic. Difficult tasks for companies in these times of crisis include maintaining supply chains and critical infrastructure for all patients in the countries of the region. Beyond the set agenda and the planned focus topics for 2022, the OA/GHA Health Working Group has focused since the beginning of the war on providing an exchange platform for its members as well as representatives of the German government and international aid organisations to share up-to-date information on the situation on the ground and coordinate relief efforts.
The Forum takes place as an on-site conference in Berlin. The working language is English.
Participation is free of charge.
