African Pharmaceutical and Vaccine Manufacturers Seek Contacts with German Companies
Information Event and B2B Meetings on June 20, 2024, at the Hilton Hotel Frankfurt (City Center)
The production of pharmaceuticals and vaccines in Africa is set to be significantly expanded in the coming years. As part of the 9th German-African Healthcare Forum (GAHF) in Frankfurt, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) is organizing an information event on June 20. The event also offers the opportunity for cooperation talks with leading African pharmaceutical and vaccine companies from Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Kenya, and Ethiopia.
Representatives from the following companies will participate in the meetings: Innovative Biotech, Biovaccines Nigeria, Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries, Fidson Healthcare, DEK Vaccines, Carrefour Médical, Teranga Pharma, Kenya BioVax Institute, Dawa Life Sciences, ShieldVax Enterprise, Addis Pharmaceutical Factory, Africure Pharmaceuticals.
The delegation is part of the BMZ-funded UNIDO project “Increasing African production of vaccines and essential medicines through business linkages and technology transfer,” which aims to expand the production of pharmaceuticals and vaccines in Africa through partnerships between African and German companies.
