Ethiopia has confirmed its first covid19 case on March 13/2020 and the virus is showing a steady increase. To this end, the Ethiopian Government took several precautionary measures and set up a national committee that will pull together resources from domestic and international sources.

The social, political and economic impacts of the corona virus pandemic are being strongly felt throughout the world and it is testing countries with well-established healthcare systems and social protection schemes.

Then, it is no wonder what the effects of this pandemic will be on a developing country like Ethiopia.

The needs for humanitarian support in fighting the corona pandemic in Ethiopia have never been greater. While we recognize the serious financial and material constraints this pandemic has put all of us in, there is now a renewed call for friends of Ethiopia and other humanitarian organizations to provide financial, medical equipment and other supplies in fighting the pandemic. We kindly ask you and your esteemed organization to provide us with financial, medical equipment and other supplies or guide us in the direction of those who will be to help in our struggle to fight the corona virus pandemic in Ethiopia. Containing the spread of the virus in Ethiopia will definitely serve the common goal of building a safer and more prosperous world.
