The ACL product portfolio under the brands OR-PC®, OR-MD® and OR-CONSOLE® stands for the quality seal »Made in Germany«. All production steps are performed by more than 70 employees at the headquarters in Leipzig (Germany). It starts with the production of the robust all-aluminum housings in the company’s own CNC milling center. This is followed by the cutting and printing of various protective glass panels, PCAP touchscreen lamination and optical bonding in the company’s own clean room under ESD conditions. Due to a very high degree of vertical integration and an own development department in the area of design and electronics, individually configured single devices and small quantities can be manufactured as well as large projects can also be realized.
ACL’s reasons for becoming a member of the GHA are very diverse. “The focus was on knowledge transfer, sharing experiences and networking with other members, and joining forces to form an advocacy group in the healthcare industry that is well known beyond the borders of Germany,” explains Thomas Wollesky, CEO.
For Maik Kränkel, VP Sales & Marketing, the exchange of experience and the development of networks in the course of international expansion are most important: “The GHA offers ACL an excellent platform to establish cooperation’s for our ambitious international goals and to benefit from the experience of other members. The support provided by the GHA for international trade fair appearances is a further plus point for us. With a view to an even more intensive exchange and dialog, we are already looking forward towards the next possible events again soon“.
