SERVICES FOR GHA MEMBERS

Mission & Goals

The GHA – German Health Alliance pools most reputable health experts and suppliers of medical solutions. With its specific focuses on Global Health and excellent, highest quality medical technologies, solutions & services, GHA aims to create a major contribution towards strengthening health systems and health infrastructure in an international context.

GHA supports its member organisations to increase their success in the international activities in order to strengthen the German healthcare sector. GHA advocates for the improvement of framework conditions and of market entry, positioning German actors as most suitable partners for efficient, effective and sustainable high-quality solutions. On behalf of the GHA member entities, GHA identifies restraints and campaigns for their depletion in politics, public authorities and relevant decision-makers.

By joining the dynamic and growing initiative, members become active part of shaping GHA while getting access to GHA’s excellent contacts in all sectors including economy, NGOs, politics, science & research. Integral part of the services of the GHA for its members are following pillars: Advocacy | Access | Network | Communication & PR.

Integrator

The GHA expedites the closing of ranks with neighbouring networks, associations and initiatives and works towards a significantly intensified multi-sectoral collaboration in the internationally oriented health sector. By combining activities, assets and specific strengths of public, non-governmental and private organisations as well as by fostering cooperation between German and international stakeholders in health, GHA creates valuable synergies in order to provide the whole range of solutions of uncompromised quality necessary to broaden and enhance access to high-standard healthcare services.

Already years ago, GHA has initiated a true multi-sectoral approach in the international cooperation in health and thus could win NGOs as members of the German Health Alliance. Especially in context to the health-related G20 activities under German’s presidency 2017 this in particular has been widely acknowledged.

Furthermore, the GHA is strengthening the exchange with science & academia within the internationally-oriented health care sector. The close cooperation with the World Health Summit (WHS) and the GHA existing since 2014 is a lighthouse example for this institutionalized cooperation.
