The 14th Health in Africa Working Group Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, 19 March 2024, from 15:00 to 16:30 CET, and will be held on MS-Teams.

The meeting will begin with an opening and introduction by the co-chairs of the working group, Kerstin Heimel-Ventura from B.Braun and Mario Geissler from Sysmex.

This will be followed by presentations on South Africa, including

• a report on the German Bundestag Subcommittee on Global Health’s trip to South Africa by Professor Dr. Andrew Ullmann,
• and discussions on doing business in South Africa and
• South Africa as a hub for Southern Africa.
• The last part of the meeting will be an internal discussion on the 9th German-African Healthcare Forum and the work program of the working group for 2024.

The presentations during the AG meeting will be held in English, while the internal discussion will be conducted in German. A AI-based translation will be offered
