In 2018, Geoffrey Hamilton, United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), presented a concept of “People-First” PPPs, – a new generation of PPPs whose overall goal is sustainable development and which puts people interests at its core. One year later, it is important to learn how the concept of PfPPPs has matured and transposed into practice through various activities, e.g. development of international standards, and translating PfPPPs principles in concrete actions and projects.

The Second International Conference “People-First PPPs in the Health Sector – an instrument to achieve SDGs. Taking Joint Action. Embracing Responsibility” is being organized within Global SDG Week (Act4SDGs) that takes place from 20 till 30 September 2019.
