AHB Symposium 2023: The role of the private sector in Africa’s New Public Health Order
29 – 30 Jun 2023
Johannesburg
The COVID-19 Pandemic has shown that there is a need for Africa to establish stronger surveillance and governance systems, predictable financing mechanisms, better structures to manage pandemics, and public challenges associated with the ongoing economic and political changes.
To harness and combat new and existing public health challenges, the Africa CDC has launched the New Public Health Order as new health standard for Africa that applies innovative solutions with a focus on five core areas. The AHB Symposium 2023 will convene African healthcare leaders in Johannesburg, South Africa on the 29th and 30th of June to discuss the role of the private sector in Africa’s new public health order.
The AHB Symposium is a pan-African conference that sits at the heart of the African healthcare scene. Via the symposium, AHB has curated a platform for promoting public-private sector partnerships and dialogue within the African healthcare sector.
