WHS Side-Event:

Kick Off Meeting of a Global Forum on “Elimination of Cervical Cancer by Capacity Building and Partnership Development”. The aim is to bring together 10 country representatives from Africa (implementers) selected by the WHO, the WHO team, the global professional societies and the private sector for a dialogue and to establish medium and long-term partnerships. The women’s clinic of the Charité is the platform of this global forum.

The objective is to support the further development of health systems in 10 selected African countries in the field of cancer treatment, i.e. imaging, surgery and pathology.

The GHA supports the Forum and is part of the dialogue.
