In the service of emergency aid: With the changes that time brings, emergency aid must also be constantly developed. This is where we see our task. Our current projects deal with combating sudden cardiac death (“Fighting Cardiac Death”), improving emergency calls (“Emergency Call”) and transporting premature babies (“Baby Emergency Ambulance System ‘Felix'”). In 2019, the Björn Steiger Foundation could look back on 50 years of commitment to lifesaving. Introduction of the rescue service, BOS radiotelephone in the rescue service, emergency telephones at the roadside, air rescue, 24-hour emergency doctor system – the Björn Steiger Foundation has set all this and much more in motion. With its current initiatives and projects, the Foundation continues to do everything it can to improve emergency assistance.
