With the portal4med Referrer Portal, referring physicians have direct access to radiological reports and images – without a separate installation. Preliminary findings can be displayed in the integrated mobile image viewer, and the original DICOM files can be downloaded. The referring physician is immediately notified via e-mail when a new report is released. Critical findings are specially marked. This enables shorter treatment cycles and faster patient care. The web-based portal works with any RIS via standard HL7 interfaces to create a smooth workflow. The detailed allocation of access rights guarantees transparency and security in handling sensitive medical data.
