WEHRMEDIZIN UND WEHRPHARMAZIE [military medicine and pharmacy] is the leading German-language journal focusing on the training and continuing education of medical officers on active service, medical officer cadets (medical students) and reserve medical officers working as general practitioners, dentists, veterinary surgeons and pharmacists.
It is the only journal published in Germany that covers every subject relevant to military medicine and pharmacy; not only all the medical fields, but also dentistry, veterinary medicine, pharmacy and food chemistry. Particular attention is paid to transfusion medicine, rescue, emergency and disaster medicine, wound treatments, acquirement of the necessary materials (drugs, medical devices and equipment) required for routine use and during deployments outside Germany, and to aspects of organisation and management, including the implementation of management systems, and much more.
