The new GHA member EUMEPRO manufactures medical protective equipment according to highest quality standards 100% in Germany.
EUMEPRO GmbH is a joint venture set up by two companies from the automotive supply industry. Standards such as industry 4.0 and AI-enabled camera inspection on 100% of all products are used during the manufacturing process.
EUMEPRO manufactures Community Masks (since September 2020), Surgical Masks (since October 2020) and FFP2 and FFP3 masks for particle protection (starting in December 2020). 90% of the value added is generated in Germany. The raw material Meltblown is produced entirely by the world market leader in Berlin, Germany. Securing production quotas at an early stage enabled EUMEPRO to secure long-term delivery certainty of the raw material.
By setting up a fully automated production process EUMEPRO uses its expertise and experience for the basic provision of respiratory masks in Germany and Europe. EUMEPRO thus contributes to securing the supply of high-quality protective equipment in Germany and the European Union.
“We see the GHA as a strong association of medium-sized medical technology companies. We want to expand our national and international contacts in order to make EUMEPRO even more successful nationally and internationally”, Holger Rupp, managing partner and founder of EUMEPRO describes the reason for joining GHA.
Rupp wants to create awareness that Germany has become too dependent on manufacturers that produce in China. Companies that produce in Germany and the EU should not be judged only on price alone. “Quality, reliability, technology and ability to deliver should be the main focus. Then the value of the produce will be worth more than just the price,” Rupp emphasizes.
