Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to present to you the Report 2021.

The content is the result of your tireless efforts for people in need around the worldwide. None of these projects would have been possible without your commitment, dedication, and motivation: thank you from the bottom of my heart.

You have been active in 35 countries and 140 projects. 3.3 million people have benefited directly from our help thanks to your support. These people all have a story to tell. You can read about some of them, as well as find more facts and figures about what MI achieved in 2021 in our – in your – Report. Thank you for the tremendous things that we have achieved together.

The 2021 Report is available online on our website in German and English and will soon also be available in printed form: Please share and distribute it.

I am happy and grateful to have such a great team at my side: Let’s be proud of what we have achieved, tell others about it, and continue to work together to respond to the challenges we face as a global community. Never has the need for humanitarian aid been greater, never have more people needed our support. You, the strong Malteser International network, and the trust of our donors give me confidence that we will be able to continue doing the best we can to support people in need.
