The German Healthcare Export Group e. V. (GHE) will strategically realign itself. At their general meeting during the GHE summer conference in Forchheim, the members decided to work together with the German Healthcare Partnership (GHP) and the German-Sino Healthcare Group (GSHCG) in the GHA – German Health Alliance.

As an initiative of the Federation of German Industries (BDI), the GHA will bundle the expertise and activities of the GHE, GHP and GSHCG with immediate effect and unite the member organizations of the three associations as of 1 January 2020.

In its multi-sectoral composition, the GHA will consist of almost 100 leading German players from medical technology sector and practically all other sectors of the German health care system. This enables the GHA to cover a very broad spectrum of health expertise.

The work of the GHA will aim to address the growing international demand for the leading expertise of German healthcare players with their innovations, high-quality technologies, products, solutions and services.

The German Healthcare Export Group e. V. (GHE) represents successfully for over 25 years as a German export association of medical technology about 70% of the equipment of a hospital. The GHE represents around 40 industrial and commercial companies in the medical technology industry. The medical device industry employs around 200,000 people in Germany and invests approximately nine percent of its sales in research and development of new products and processes.
