Europe’s healthcare is set to go digital: the EU-funded JADECARE project has selected four best-practice models to serve as best-practice examples for digitially integrated and patient-centered care in 17 countries. Amongst one of those selected is the OptiMedis care model.
Project countries will be supported in implementing the chosen models. For example, OptiMedis, in collaboration with Eurometropol Strasbourg, is advising partner countries of Belgium, France, Denmark, Slovenia, Estonia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The first “virtual visits” to regions where the OptiMedis care model is implemented, in “Gesundes Kinzigtal”, the “Gesunde Werra-Meißner-Kreis” and the “Gesunde Schwalm-Eder-Kreis”, have already taken place.
JADECARE runs for a duration of three years and is part of the initiative “The third health program 2014-2020 – funding health initiatives” of the European Union.
