Matachana’s range of products and services includes medical and laboratory equipment, sterilizers, washer-disinfectors, accessories, furniture, fully automated robotic systems for networking and integrating logistical processes within a medical device reprocessing unit, process monitoring software, spare parts and maintenance services and training.
Matachana designs, manufactures and markets integrated and innovative solutions for hospitals with central sterile processing facilities and offers complete solutions for equipping research centers and safety laboratories for universities, hospitals and industry. Matachana accompanies the customized systems from consulting, planning, installation and training to technical support. Matachana has more than 160 service technicians worldwide.

Matachana’s products ensure sterility of critical materials used in operating rooms and other medical areas, as well as the elimination and eradication of infectious materials that accumulate in both laboratories and hospitals.
Matachana has been designing and manufacturing sterilizers for the healthcare sector, laboratories and research centers since 1962 and is represented in more than 110 countries on five continents. The family-run company with over 560 employees worldwide is headquartered in Barcelona. Production takes place at three locations in Spain and in Bergamo, Italy. There are subsidiaries in France, Italy, the USA, Argentina, Malaysia and Germany. The German headquarters with 115 employees with marketing, sales, service and logistics is located in Selmsdorf near Lübeck.
