Public health protection is a key pillar of national resilience. After dealing with the “problem child of the emergency services” last year, this year’s symposium will focus on hospitals. The German government is pursuing three central goals with its planned hospital reform: De-economisation, securing and increasing the quality of treatment and reducing bureaucracy in the system. At the same time, Germany still lacks a law to safeguard and provide for the health sector, and both the security policy framework and the pressing issues of civil protection in the health sector require national answers.
We need a turnaround in overall defence – also in the hospital system.
Once again this year, you can expect an exciting programme with high-ranking speakers and a panel discussion at the end – all on the topic of “Hospitals in transition – effects on civil protection and overall defence”. So do not hesitate to join us on December 10th, 2024, in Berlin.
